Royal Enfield has confirmed that the new Meteor 350 will be launched in the Indian market on 6 November, 2020. The motorcycle will rival the likes of Jawa, Benelli Imperiale 400, and the newly launched Honda H’ness CB 350. Leaked documents and spy photographs have already revealed most of the details about the Meteor 350.
The Meteor 350 will feature Thunderbird 350X-inspired styling cues. Thus, the motorcycle will come with bright colour options, teardrop fuel tank, round headlight with chrome highlight, split-seats, and alloy wheels. The Meteor will also receive new switchgear, an LED DRL, an LED taillight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with a navigation system, and a USB charger.
Leaked documents have confirmed that the Meteor 350 will be offered in three variants – Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova – and seven colour options. The Fireball (base variant) will be available in Fireball Yellow and Fireball Red. The Meteor 350 Stellar variant will be sold in three colours – Red Metallic, Black Matte, and Blue Metallic. The top-spec Supernova variant will be offered in two colour options – Brown and Blue dual-tone paint schemes.
Mechanical specifications will include a 350cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke engine that will deliver 20.2bhp of power and 27Nm of peak torque. The hardware on the motorcycle will comprise of telescopic front forks, twin-sided rear shock absorbers, and single discs on both wheels. The safety net will include dual-channel ABS.
The prices will be announced on the launch date. We expect the new Meteor 350 to retail close to Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
