Royal Enfield has widened its footprint in Europe by opening two new exclusive stores in France and Spain. These stores are located in the capital cities of Paris and Madrid, and are aimed at expanding Royal Enfield’s presence in one of the biggest lifestyle motorcycle markets in Europe.
Though Royal Enfield already has 80 dealerships in France and 25 in Spain, these new exclusive stores are the first of their kind in these countries. During the inauguration, Royal Enfield also unveiled its collection of motorcycle apparel and accessories along with the Despatch range of special edition motorcycles.
The Royal Enfield motorcycles’ nostalgic appeal coupled with the accessible price point make them a lucrative option for enthusiasts looking for a lifestyle motorcycle. These exclusive stores are a part of Royal Enfield’s new retail strategy aimed at attracting an enthusiast audience. The stores have been designed to provide an immersive retail experience by drawing similarities to a living room of a motorcycling enthusiast. These stores help the century-old brand portray its philosophy of ‘Pure Motorcycling’ and enhancing the customers’ buying experience.
Speaking about the new showrooms, Mr Arun Gopal, International Business Head, Royal Enfield said, “France and Spain represent two of the most important markets for us in Europe. We have witnessed immense growth in both France and in Spain, which is fuelled by our close proximity to the customers in these regions through a wide distribution network and increasing dealerships in the past few months. In future we are also looking at other cities in these countries to expand our distribution network, in addition to a strong aftermarket network and infrastructure to ensure full service support.”
