- Domestic sales grew by six per cent
- Exports grew by 94 per cent
- Year-to-date numbers saw 17 per cent decline
Royal Enfield has reported its sales data for the month of February 2021. The company registered an overall growth of 10 per cent, selling 69,659 units in February 2021 as against 63,536 units in the corresponding month last year.
The domestic sales grew from 61,188 units in February 2020 to 65,114 units in February 2021, recording a six per cent rise. The exports, too, witnessed a positive growth of 94 per cent, rising from 2,348 in February last year to 4,545 units in February 2021.
In recent updates, the company announced the launch of the 2021 Himalayan across India, Europe, and the UK. The updated model received a styling upgrade in the form of new colour options and graphics. The company also updated the instrument cluster on the motorcycle with the addition of the Tripper Navigation system. The Himalayan has also become a part of the Make It Yours – MiY – initiative, allowing customers to personalise and accessorise their motorcycle through the RE App, the website, and at the dealerships.
Royal Enfield is currently working on its next-generation models that will comprise new 650cc motorcycles, and the updated iterations of the existing models.
