Royal Enfield has recorded a growth of 16 per cent in December 2017 with 66,968 motorcycles sold over the 57,398 units sold in the same time last year.
Domestic sales for the manufacturer were also up by 16 per cent with 65,367 motorcycles sold last month over the 56,36 motorcycles sold in December 2016. On the other hand, exports were up by 47 per cent with 1601 units sold last month against the 1082 units it sold in the same period last year.
Royal Enfield's highest selling model is the Classic 350. However, the demand for the BSIV variant of the Himalayan also seems to be growing. Royal Enfield also revealed its 650cc twins in India last month, although we expect the manufacturer to get the bikes in the country by the first half of next year. The manufacturer is expected to launch the Thunderbird 350X and Thunderbird 500X.
