Royal Enfield has announced that its June overall sales increased by 83 per cent. The company sold 25,303 units in June 2014 as compared to 13,806 units in the same month last year.
Out of all the sales volumes, domestic sales contributed the highest at 24,519 units last month as against 13,315 units in the corresponding month last year, resulting a growth of 84 per cent. Exports increased by 60 per cents at 784 units as compared to 491 Royal Enfields in the same month last year. From the first quarter of 2014, the Oragadam facility has produced more than 10,000 units per month and is now contributing significantly to the production volumes.
Royal Enfield recently unveiled their new logo which attracted mixed response. The company decided to surprise everyone by not issuing any official announcements but using the new logo in all their motorcycles. Along with new brand logo, the company launched new colours for the Thunderbird and the Classic series that was applaud by the brand enthusiasts across the online channel in the country.
