Royal Enfield has witnessed a marginal growth in sales in the month of October this year. While it sold 69,492 motorcycles globally in the month of October in 2017, it registered a growth of one per cent by selling 70,451 units in the same month this year.
The majority of business for the brand comes from India where it has witnessed three per cent growth. Internationally, though, Royal Enfield saw 72 per cent decline in sales as it sold 407 units. The international sales figure stood at 1478 units during October last year.
Royal Enfield has an array of products with retro-classic styling. Among all the motorcycles, the Classic 350 brings in highest number of sales for the brand in India. The company is all set to up its ante this month as it will launch the 650cc twins, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 on 14 November in India.
