Royal Enfield has reported its sales data for October 2020, and the Chennai-based brand registered an overall decline of seven per cent. The company sold 66,891 units in October 2020 as against 71,964 units in the corresponding month last year.
Domestic sales stood at 62,858 units in October this year as against 67,538 units in October 2019. Exports, too, witnessed a nine per cent decline as Royal Enfield sold 4,033 units in the last month as compared to 4,426 units in October 2019. The year-to-date data saw a decline, and Royal Enfield sold 2,74,679 units between April and October 2020, as against 4,22,262 units during the corresponding period last year, thus registering a 35 per cent fall.
In more updates, Royal Enfield will expand its product range with the launch of the Meteor 350 in the Indian market on 6 November, 2020. The company also confirmed that it has discontinued the Thunderbird brand from its portfolio.
