Royal Enfield has launched the Rumbler 350 in Australia at AUD 6,790 (Rs 3.41 lakhs). This motorcycle is called the Thunderbird 350 in India and everywhere else, but the company can’t use this name in Australia due to trademark conflicts.
The only way to differentiate the Indian variant from the Australian one is by using the ‘Rumbler’ badging and orange reflectors on the front forks. The rest of the design is identical to the Indian model. In fact, there are no mechanical changes either. The Rumber gets its power from a 346cc single-cylinder motor that produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Chennai-based manufacturer is offering the Rumbler 350 in three colours, stone, marine and lightning. This bike is being positioned as an entry-level bike for new riders in Australia.
