- Official launch date revealed
- Test mules have been spotted multiple times
Royal Enfield has revealed the launch date for the Scram 411 and it's set to debut on 15 March 2022. The official announcement was made on the brand's social media handles.
The test mule has been spotted multiple times and that too in various colours. Not just that, the bike has already been spotted at the dealership yard and an online brochure has leaked the deets as well.
It'll carry the Himalayan DNA but with a few tweaks. For reference, the fascia, bodywork and the motor are retained from the ADV but the Scram 411 comes without any luggage mounts. Moreover, its off-roading capabilities will also be limited since it seems to run on a smaller wheel setup.
Overall, Royal Enfield's primary moto seems to be offering an affordable version of the Himalayan since its asking price has seen a major flight in the past year. The Himalayan is priced at Rs 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, so expect the Scram 411 to be placed below it and cost a few thousand less.
