Royal Enfield has increased the prices of most of its models in India including the Scram 411. The revision has resulted in a hike of upto Rs 3,390 over the previous pricing. That said, the pricing of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 differs depending on the colour you choose. Below are all the paint options of the motorcycle along with the difference in pricing.
Graphite Yellow, Red Blue- Rs 2,06,394 (vs. 2,03,084)
Skyline Blue, Blazing Black- Rs 2,08,257 (vs. 2,04,921)
White Flame, Silver Spirit- Rs 2,11,984 (vs 2,08,594)
While the hike is a substantial amount, Royal Enfield has not changed anything on the Scram 411. The motorcycle continues to share its platform with the Himalayan 411. It gets the same 411cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm at 4,000-4,500rpm and is linked to a five-speed gearbox. However, to make it more user friendly, the Scram rides on smaller wheels as compared to the Himalayan’s 21/19-spoke wheel setup. It also offers a smaller seat height and lesser suspension travel but weighs lesser too.
That being said, we had the Royal Enfield Scram 411 as our long-termer for over six months and came to like the motorcycle quite a bit. If you are looking to purchase a Himalayan but would be more comfortable if it were lighter and more accessible, look no further than the Scram. The motorcycle also offers features like the Tripper Navigation system on the top-spec model and dual-channel ABS as standard.
