- New Scram 411 spotted during TVC shoot
- Launch likely in February
- Could be priced around Rs 1.9 lakh
Royal Enfield has started the ground work for bringing their new product – the Scram 411 to the market. One covered Scram 411 was spotted somewhere in Goa while it was being shot for a TVC.
We were the first one to tell you about the scrambler version of Himalayan a few months ago. The Scram 411 will be positioned below the Himalayan and will get most of the cycle parts from the Himalayan. But there are a few things that will make it look different than the ADV.
The Scram 411 will get 19-inch front. It won’t get the tall windscreen that is seen on the Himalayan. The luggage rack and jerry can holders will be missing as well. The Scram 411 instead will feature new tank shrouds, different headlamp cowl and an instrument cluster that is likely to be borrowed from the Meteor 350.
In terms of performance, the Scram 411 is likely to churn out the same 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque from the 411cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This motor will be mated to a five-speed gearbox. We can expect revised gear ratios to suit city riding conditions. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is likely to make its global debut sometime in February. The bike maybe offered in some new vibrant colours and could see a price tag of around Rs 1.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
