The 2025 Royal Enfield Scram 440 is all set to go on sale in India soon. The bike was revealed at Motoverse 2024 and its price will be announced this month. The Scram 440 succeeds the Royal Enfield Scram 411 and as the 440 moniker suggests, it has a bigger engine.
The bike is powered by a 443cc, air/oil-cooled engine that makes 25.4bhp at 6,250rpm and 34Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. With more power and a sixth gear, the Scram 440 should have the legs to sit at sustained highway speeds with greater ease.
The styling of the Scram 440 is largely similar to the Scram 411. There’s a round headlight with a small cowl around it, a large fuel tank and a slim tail section. Royal Enfield has also introduced new colours- Force Teal, Force Grey, Force Blue, Trail Green, and Trail Blue.
In terms of features, the bike comes equipped with an LED headlight, switchable dual-channel ABS and a revised front brake for better stopping power.
Royal Enfield will offer the bike in two trims-Trail and Force. The Trail variant rides on conventional 19/17-inch spoke wheels with tube-type tyres. On the other hand, the top-spec Force variant gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
The Scram 440 will go up against the Triumph Scrambler 400X.
