Royal Enfield sells 18,400 motorcycles in May 2020

- Royal Enfield sales decline by 69 per cent in India

- Sells a total of 19,113 motorcycles in May 2020

- To launch the Meteor 350 soon

Royal Enfield has registered a sale of 18,429 motorcycles in India for May.

The manufacturer announced a decline of 69 per cent as compared to May 2019 wherein it sold 60,211 motorcycles in the country. On the other hand, exports also took a hit, going from 2,160 units sold overseas in May 2019 to 684 units last month. Cumulatively, Royal Enfield sold 19,113 motorcycles in May 2020; a slump of 69 per cent as against the 62,371 units sold in the same month last year.

Nevertheless, with the world slowly picking itself up from the Corovirus pandemic and industry commencing operations, we can expect Royal Enfield sales numbers to increase soon. Moreover, the manufacturer is set to launch the all-new Meteor 350 sometime this month.
