After launching the Shotgun 650 in India and Europe in January 2024, Royal Enfield has now launched the factory-custom bobber in the North American markets.
In the US, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is priced at USD6,899, while it costs CAD9,199 in Canada. The motorcycle is positioned below the Super Meteor 650, and that is reflected in its pricing as well. For instance, the latter starts at a price of USD6,999 in the US and CAD9,599 in Canada.
The Shotgun 650 shares most of its underpinnings and mechanicals with the Super Meteor 650. Thus, the 648cc, parallel-twin motor is housed inside a tubular spine frame that is suspended on Showa USD forks up front and twin shocks at the back. Meanwhile, braking tasks are handled by disc brakes at both ends along with dual-channel ABS as a part of the safety net.
The air/oil-cooled engine gets a 270-degree firing order that delivers a maximum output of 46.3bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. The motor is paired with a slick-shifting six-speed gearbox.
In India, the Shotgun 650 is priced between Rs. 3.59 lakh to Rs. 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
