- Available in two curated accessory packs – Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer
- Solo Tourer kit includes bar end mirrors, machined alloy wheels, and more
- Grand Tourer kit includes touring dual-seat, windscreen, panniers, and more
Royal Enfield took the wraps off the Super Meteor 650 yesterday at the EICMA 2022. As is the case with most Royal Enfield bikes, the cruiser will be offered with a host of genuine accessories, and the company has curated two accessory packs for the Super Meteor 650.
These two accessory packs are Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer. The Solo Tourer kit, as the name suggests, is designed for solo riders, and comes in the Astral Black colour scheme. This kit includes accessories like bar end mirrors, LED indicators, deluxe footpeg, and machined alloy wheels. It also gets a solo finisher, which we believe is the luggage rack to replace the pillion seat.
The Grand Tourer kit is offered in the Celestial Red paint scheme of the Super Meteor 650 Tourer. This kit includes a deluxe touring dual-seat, passenger backrest, touring windscreen, long-haul panniers, and a touring handlebar. The Grand Tourer pack gets deluxe footpegs and LED indicators too, which are also a part of the Solo Tourer kit.
While these two accessory kits are only available in the specific paint schemes, we believe Royal Enfield will offer these accessories as standalone with other colour options as well. We can also expect a dedicated MIY (make it yours) option for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, where customers can spec their motorcycles according to their personal preferences, and order it directly from the factory.
Meanwhile, the cruiser will be available in two variants — Super Meteor 650 and Super Meteor 650 Tourer, and a total of seven colour options. It is powered by a 648cc air/oil-cooled motor that makes 47bhp and 52Nm. Power is transferred to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield will showcase the Super Meteor 650 in India on 18 October, at Rider Mania 2022. We expect the bookings to commence soon after its India unveil, while it is likely to be launched in January 2023. As for the pricing, it might start around Rs 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and can go up to Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
