Royal Enfield currently has three 650cc bikes in its portfolio, with the latest of the trio being the Super Meteor 650. It’s not only the most expensive motorcycle from the brand but also the most premium one. Here, we’ve given a thorough laydown of its specifications, variants, pricing, and more.
What are the specifications and fuel economy of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650?
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin long-stroke motor. It produces 47bhp and 52Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The engine offers likeable performance in terms of low and mid-range torque, as well as tractability. Like most of the two-wheelers, we did a fuel efficiency test of the Super Meteor 650, too, and it returned 23.7kmpl. During the BikeWale test, we rode the Super Meteor 650 in low to moderate traffic along with some open roads. Moreover, the engine was shut off at traffic signals which had a waiting time of more than 30 seconds. Considering the bike gets a 15.7-litre fuel tank, you can expect a range of about 370km, which is quite decent. It could also go higher or lower depending on your riding style and the conditions.
