- Prices now start from Rs. 3,54,938
- No styling changes to the motorcycle
- Available in three variants in India
Royal Enfield has revised the prices of several models in the Indian market, and this revision also affects its most-expensive product, the Super Meteor 650. Previously, this middleweight cruiser motorcycle was available from Rs. 3,48,900 onwards. However, the Super Meteor 650 range is now listed from Rs. 3,54,938.
It is available in three variants in India – Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial. Check out the latest prices of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 below:
Astral: Rs. 3,54,938 (vs. Rs. 3,48,900)
Interstellar: Rs. 3,69,622 (vs. Rs. 3,63,900)
Celestial: Rs. 3,84,845 (vs. Rs. 3,78,900)
Notably, this price hike does not bring any cosmetic changes to the cruiser motorcycle. Thus, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 retains a round headlight, an aluminium finish on the switchgear housing, a curvy fuel tank with 3D logos, a split-style seat, and twin-sided exhaust canisters. The top-spec Celestial variant further benefits from a tall windscreen and a pillion backrest. The feature list includes an LED headlight, a tripper navigation system, and a dual-channel ABS.
The mechanical specifications across the variants include the same 648cc, parallel-twin, air-cooled motor as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to produce 46.2bhp and 52Nm of peak torque on the Super Meteor 650. The engine, however, now complies with E20 fuel requirements.
While the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 does not have a direct rival in its price segment, it faces some competition from the Kawasaki Vulcan S. Notably, the Kawasaki cruiser retails at a much higher price range than the Super Meteor 650.
