Royal Enfield unveils Green Fly Classic 500 custom bike in Spain

Royal Enfield has unveiled a new custom motorcycle in Spain – the Green Fly. The Spain division of Royal Enfield selected Jesus de Juan to create this motorcycle based on the Classic 500.

De Juan used the frame from the Continental GT as it was easy to carry out modifications. The top section of the chassis has been tinkered with to accommodate the Classic 500 engine. The modification isn’t just limited to aesthetics and the engine. The telescopic front forks have been replaced by upside-down forks (USD) and is equipped with an offset monoshock at the rear. The bike runs on off-road tyres – 140 section in the front and 150 section at the rear. The bike is equipped with disc brakes too.

The entire tail section has been chopped off to give it a bobber look. Like the name suggests, this custom bike gets green paint. The wheels and the headlamp plate too get the green treatment. The seat is short and the design of the stitching is something we don’t usually see on Royal Enfields.

The Green Fly will be showcased to the world at the Madrid Auto Show which will be held in March. This motorcycle won’t go into production and was designed just to increase the brand value of Royal Enfield in the Spanish market.
