Royal Enfield has unveiled three custom bikes at the seventh edition of the Wheels and Waves show in France. These concept bikes are based on the soon-to-be launched 650cc motorcycles.
The Lock Stock, Rohini and the Interceptor have used Royal Enfield’s 650cc underpinnings. Whjle the Lock Stock and Rohini is based on the Continental GT platform, the Interceptor concept have used the Interceptor 650 platform.
The Lock Stock is a 865cc drag bike that has been designed by the Chennai-based manufacturer. It was first showcased at The Bike Shed is known for its low-sling design and extended tube-type swingarm. The bike is equipped with upside-down forks from Ohlins and six-spoke alloy wheels. The engine is now 865cc but uses the 650cc motor as a base and uses nitrous injection.
The Rohini has been designed by Young Guns Customs and has taken inspiration from India’s space program and its Rohini satellites. The Interceptor, on the other hand, has been completely-stripped to make it look like a flat-tracker.
These custom bikes will not make it to the production line in the near future. They have been showcased to build up a bit of hype around the upcoming 650cc bikes.
