- 82,097 units sold last month
- 170 per cent growth in domestic sales
- Could launch new Bullet 350 soon
Royal Enfield has registered a massive 145 per cent growth in sales for September 2022 with a sale of 82,097 motorcycles. In comparison, the Chennai-based manufacturer sold a total of 33,529 units in September 2021.
In the domestic market, Royal Enfield sold 73,646 last month as against the 27,233 units sold in India in the same period in 2021. This has resulted in a 170 per cent growth for the manufacturer in the country. On the other hand, export numbers for Royal Enfield went up from 6,296 motorcycles in September 2021 to 8,451 motorcycles in September 2022.
Royal Enfield recently launched the Hunter 350, the most affordable motorcycle from the brand at Rs 1.49 lakh for the Retro variant. The Hunter 350 is built on the same platform as the Classic and Meteor with the revised 349cc, single-cylinder engine. That said, the manufacturer is also likely to launch the all-new Bullet 350 based on the same J-Platform soon.
