Bajaj Motorcycles revealed their new super sport motorcycle, the Pulsar SS400 at the 2014 Auto Expo. However, its younger sibling, the Pulsar SS200 missed sharing the stage with its big brother. Now, we show you a picture which reveals the front fascia of the Pulsar SS200.
Here we can clearly see that there are no changes to the front area and that it looks quite similar to that of the Pulsar SS400. However, our source informs us that there are only two changes that will distinguish the SS200 from its bigger sibling. Firstly, the Pulsar SS200 won’t get the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and secondly, the overall body proportion of the SS200 will be slightly smaller than the SS400. It will also be getting the fuel-injected (FI) unlike the carburetor setup in the Pulsar NS200.
The Pune- based manufacturer will also be playing with many bright colours for these upcoming full-faired motorcycles. We have already seen the bright yellow coloured Pulsar SS400 at the 2014 Auto Expo. This same colour will be offered with the Pulsar SS200 as well, along with more bright colours like sky blue.
The Bajaj Pulsar SS200 will sit between the Pulsar NS200 and the KTM Duke 200 and is expected to be priced very competitively in the market. If we go with the rumours floating around on the internet, then the Pulsar SS200 will be launched prior to the Pulsar SS400.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more details on the Pulsar SS200 and the Pulsar SS400.
