Suzuki Motorcycle India is ready to launch its new scooter, the Let’s, for the market soon. The company has already started taking bookings for it but hasn’t announced a price yet as the official event is rumoured to take place tomorrow. However, we can confirm that the Lets will be competitively priced at Rs 47,610 on-road New Delhi, which includes the price of the mirror set, floor mat and footrest.
The Suzuki Let’s is the company’s first offering in the crowded yet fastest-growing 110cc scooter segment. The scooter is powered by an 110cc engine that produces 8.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.0Nm at 5,500rpm. It gets Suzuki’s new Suzuki Engine Performance (SEP) technology which the company claims provides top-class fuel efficiency of 63kmpl without compromising on power. This mill is mated to a CVT transmission similar to its competitors. The tyre size is 90/100-10, while stopping power is provided through 120mm drum brakes. The scooter is light with a kerb weight of 98kg and also has decent ground clearance at 160mm. It features a standard mobile charging point with safe lock box which is optional. The Let’s will be available in five colours – Metallic Sonic Silver, Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Triton Blue and Pearl Mirage White.
With such an incredible price, the Suzuki Let’s is sure to attract many buyers as it’s the most affordable 110cc scooter in India. Its closest competitor, the Honda Activa i is priced at Rs 48,051 on-road New Delhi and at this price, you don’t get any accessories.
