Segway has revealed their first electric motorcycle, the Apex. This motorcycle is still in its concept form, but reveals a few things that is likely to be seen on the production form.
Firstly, the styling of the Apex is really well done. Thanks to the presence of neatly designed full fairing and a sharp tail section, the Apex looks like a track-ready motorcycle. Then there are things like the upside-down forks, twin discs at the front and the top-spec Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corso tyres that makes us believe that this is going to be a premium e-bike.
The American firm hasn’t revealed the full specifications, but the bike can do a top speed of 201kmph. It can also do 0-100kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The battery and the motor details are expected to be revealed as this bike gets closer to the production.
Segway Apex once ready, will go against the Zero, a well-known e-bike maker. The pricing is bound to be on the premium side, and unfortunately, it won’t come to India anytime soon.
