Sena has introduced a new smartphone app that claims to make a rider’s life easier. Called as RideConnected app, this rangeless intercom app can be downloaded for Android and iOS smartphones.
This application will help a rider connect with other riders throughout the world. This is possible as the application uses the mobile network or WiFi to communicate with other riders. The current set of Sena headsets were limited by distance and also by the number of connections. But with the RideConnected app, the rider can communicate with multiple riders.
The app lets the rider setup a profile, invite friends, create a team and make announcements as the team leader. All Sena headsets with Bluetooth 4.1 or later (20S, 10S, 10C, 10R) will support direct control of the app through the headset, while other Sena headsets with Bluetooth 3.0 such as the SMH10 or the SPH10 only supports direct control through the app itself.
