Sherco TVS Factory Rally Team announced its line-up of four riders who will be competing in the 2019 Dakar Rally. The team consists of brothers Michael Metge and Adrian Metge from France, Lorenzo Santalino from Spain and an Indian rider who is yet to be finalised.
The fourth Indian rider might be Aravind KP but it’s not confirm yet. He’s recovering from the injuries he sustained in the PanAfrica rally. Aravind will be going through a fitness test in France and the test results will decide upon his selection in the team.
The team members have been finalised after their commendable performances in the Baja Aragon, PanAfrica Rally and the Rally of Morocco. At the Dakar event, the riders will be competing astride the RTR 450 motorcycles which have been built especially for the rally.
The Dakar rally 2019 will be the 41st edition of the event. Contrary to its traditional format of passing through various countries, this year will see the riders conquering the terrains only across Peru.
