Team Sherco TVS is off to a good start at the Baja Aragon 2017 endurance race in Spain. At the end of the first day, factory riders Joan Pedrero and Adrien Metge finished in third and seventh position respectively. Aravind KP on the other hand, is placed in 18th position.
Joan Barreda, riding for Honda’s factory team, was the fastest in motorcycles category, followed by his team mate Michael Metge. This is the 34th edition of Baja Aragon endurance race, and is being held between July 20 and July 23. The first and second competitive stages were conducted yesterday between Teruel and Perales de Alfambra, while the remaining two stages will be held today.
This year, 70 motorcycle and quad riders were flagged off for the 800 kilometer rally, of which 600 kilometers is competitive. It involved a Prologue stage to determine the starting order, followed by two days of racing. The route will take the riders through four regions – Jiloca, Sierra de Albarracin, Cuencas Mineras and Teruel offering different kinds of terrains and challenges.
