Simple Energy has made slight revisions to its product portfolio. Alongside the launch of the Dot One, the brand is now offering its flagship offering, the One electric scooter, from Rs. 1,58,000 onwards. Earlier, buyers could purchase it for either Rs. 1,45,000 with a standard charger or Rs. 1,58,000 (all ex-showroom, Bengaluru) with a 750W charger. But now, you can only purchase it with a 750W charger for the latter price.
The Simple One is powered by a 5kWh battery and gets an 8.5kW motor. The said setup offers 212km of certified range and 105km of top speed. Simple Energy has also equipped the scooter with features such as full LED illumination, TFT touchscreen display, riding modes, smartphone connectivity, document storage, navigation, and OTA updates. Moreover, the scooter gets speakers to play music and generates a faux exhaust note.
The Simple One’s hardware includes telescopic front forks and a vertically stacked monoshock, with a 200mm front and 190mm rear disc. These are mounted on alloy wheels wrapped in road-oriented tyres. The Simple One also gets a 30-litre underseat storage.
The Simple One is offered in six paint schemes – Brazen Black, Namma Red, Azure Blue, Grace White, Brazen X, and Light X. It rivals the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X Gen 3, and the Bajaj Chetak Premium.
