Simple Energy will soon enter the Indian market with the launch of its first electric scooter, the Simple One. The Bangalore-based electric vehicle manufacturer had previously confirmed that it will launch the scooter in India on 15 August, 2021.
The company has now revealed a few features of this upcoming scooter. Simple Energy confirmed in a press statement that the new Simple One will pack a commendable boot-space capacity of 30-litre. This should easily accommodate a full-face helmet.
Apart from confirming the under-seat storage space, the company also revealed its plans to introduce the Simple Loop charging network. The fast-charging network will be deployed pan India. The company stated in the press statement that it will deploy over 300 charging stations in the coming months.
The company also plans to partner with shopping complexes, restaurants, etc. to make the charging infrastructure convenient to use. The Simple Loop fast charger can recharge the scooter to up to 2.5km in 60 seconds.
