Simple Energy has confirmed that it will commence the pre-bookings for its upcoming electric scooter, Simple One on 15 August, 2021. Interested buyers can pre-book the electric scooter for a token amount of Rs 1,947. The pre-booking process will start at 5 pm on the company’s website. The amount is refundable and the process is open across India. The vehicle will be launched in 13 states in India in the Phase 1.
Apart from confirming the details about the pre-bookings, Simple Energy has also shared some details about the portable battery pack that will power the Simple One.
The company claims that the battery pack will weigh over six kilograms. The 4.8kWh lithium-ion battery is claimed to deliver a range of 240km in Eco mode. The upcoming electric scooter will boast a top speed of 100kmph and 0-50kmph acceleration in 3.6 seconds. The feature list that has been officially confirmed includes a touch screen, onboard navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity. Simple Energy has confirmed that its upcoming electric scooter will be priced from Rs 1,10,000 to Rs 1,20,000.
