- Apache RTX trademarked
- TVS may extend the RTR range
- 310cc street bike launch this festive season
TVS recently applied to trademark a new motorcycle brand 'Apache RTX'. This was done when the brand's most awaited motorcycle - the streetfighter version of the Apache RR310, which till now has been rumoured to be called the Apache RTR 310.
The registration of a new brand close to the launch of its 310cc streetfighter makes us believe that TVS might be looking to extend its 'RTR' range of motorcycles. Until now, all sporty street bikes had the Apache prefix, but the Hosur-based company may want to redefine the naming convention of its premium 310cc motorcycle.
According to our sources, this upcoming Apache has some class-leading designs and features. In fact, the bike's overall styling will be one of the main USPs of the motorcycle. Currently, there aren't many details to be revealed about the bike. But expect this to happen as we get closer to the launch.
TVS is focusing quite a bit on the premium end of the motorcycle spectrum. While the Ronin brand is helping them shore up a lot of buyers and interests, its Apache range of bikes helps them bring good volumes. This new 310cc tv may not bring a lot of sales for the brand regarding overall numbers. Still, it will help the company increase its brand recall and equity in the premium motorcycle space.
