Suzuki has announced a special edition Hayabusa and the GSX-R750. The company will make these limited variants available this month in the UK. The manufacturer has just made some cosmetic changes to the legendary bikes.
The Suzuki Hayabusa gets a red and black paint scheme and boasts of gold anodised fork caps. It also comes with red Brembo lettering on the brake calipers. No other mechanical changes have been made. Similarly, the GSX-750 also gets identical changes, which include dark gold anodised forks, steering stem nut, chain adjuster and red anodised fork caps. This bike also gets the red lettering on silver Brembo brake calipers. The engine specifications on both the bikes remain the same.
Suzuki’s plans of introducing such special editions of motorcycles clearly reflects their strategy of making a prospective buyer buy a product that is a bit unique and stands out from the crowd. The owner will feel special owning a bike that is different from the standard outgoing version of the bike.
There is no confirmation from Suzuki yet as to whether these limited edition motorcycles will be made available in India or not. Currently, only the Hayabusa is officially sold in India while the GSX-R750 is not available here. The Hayabusa was brought to India in 2008 via the CBU route along with the Intruder and still continues to sell in a decent amount for the manufacturer.
