The first ever spy pictures of the new motorcycle from Bajaj, the Pulsar 375 have been posted by our friends at PowerDrift. When word first emerged about this motorcycle, it was was rumoured to be a fully-faired and it looks like they are true.
These new spy picture show us that lot of parts of the bike have lifted from the Pulsar 200NS. The complete console, turn indicators, design of the tank and the cowl that surrounds the console all look similar to Pulsar 200NS.It also seems to be that the tank fuel lid has been made using the the same design featured on the other Pulsars variants.
One of the major changes on this motorcycle is the design of the headlamps. It features twin pods along with pilot lamps giving the Pulsar 375 a very aggressive look.
The Pulsar 375 will be powered by a 373cc single cylinder liquid-cooled engine, The same mill that powers the KTM Duke 390. This engine produces peak power of 44bhp at 9000rpm and torque of 32Nm at 7250 rpm. It is mated to six-speed gearbox.
The pictures clearly indicate that this a prototype model of the motorcycle and unlike any of the other Pulsar’s, this motorcycle is fully-faired and will be the first one from the company.
Bajaj has understood the importance of bringing in a fully-faired motorcycle to India where majority of their customers for their Pulsar motorcycles are young and would like to own something that looks very sporty. We are expecting this motorcycle to be priced below the upcoming KTM Duke 390 as it is likely that the company will want to keep the Duke 390 as a premium product.
