Steelbird had added a new helmet to its product range that has been designed for riders who wish to attend calls or listen to music while riding. Called the ‘SBA-1 HF’, it features an AUX port that is connected to a pair of speakers and a microphone inside the helmet. The company says, that the new mechanism is capable of delivering high-quality sound along with powerful performance.
Compatible with all mobile phones, some of its features include a noise cancellation microphone, access to Google assistant and a dedicated button for answering/disconnecting calls. The company hasn’t provided any noise cancellation function for the speakers so that the rider is well aware of the surrounding ambient noises while riding.
According to Steelbird, the handsfree components are waterproof with IP5 rating which should allow its usage even during monsoons. Another feature of the handsfree unit is its microphone which comes with a single actuator mechanism, wherein with the press of a button, only the voice of the rider is transmitted and not the voice of the surrounding traffic during calls.
Apart from the handsfree unit, the helmet is equipped with three intake and two exhaust vents to channel the air through the helmet for ventilation. The SBA-1 HF comes with a polycarbonate anti-scratch coated visor with a quick release mechanism.
Steelbird is offering the SBA-1 HF in sizes ranging from 58cm and 60cm and is available with the choice of three colours red, black and white. Priced at Rs 2589, the SBA-1 HF is now available at all Steelbird outlets and can be purchased online via the company’s official website.
