Steelbird Hi-Tech India has widened its helmet portfolio in India by launching the SA-1 Aeronautics helmet. The pricing of the helmet starts at Rs 2999 and goes all the way up to Rs 5999 depending upon the type of visor the buyer chooses. It is available in colour options of battle green, hot pink, midnight black, desert storm, maroon, moon yellow and royal brown, all of them being available in glossy and matte finishes.
The Steelbird SA-1 Aeronautics helmet features NACA duct airflow technology which includes double inlets above the shield and outlets at the back. The company says this design has been used for reducing air drag. The manufacturer is offering 10 different choices of visors such as iridium coated, night vision, smoke visor and photochromatic visor. Notably, among these, the photochromatic unit reportedly changes shade according to the ambient lighting for better visibility.
