Suzuka Racing Motorcycle has launched their range of motocross and off-road racing motorcycles in India. The Suzuka range of off-road bikes consist of three bikes in the 225-250cc range. However, before you raise your eyebrows in excitement, let us tell you these bikes are not road legal. They can be used only in competitions.
The first bike is the SRM 250cc AC that is powered by an air cooled 223cc, two valve, four-stroke engine. This motor churns out 16.3bhp of power at 7000rpm and a peak torque of 17.5Nm at 5500rpm. The bike has a top speed of 120kph. The second bike is the SRM 250cc WC motorcycle which is powered by water cooled 223cc, two valve, four stroke engine that has the same power output figures.
The third bike is the SRM 250cc WC bike that is powered by a 250cc four-valve, liquid-cooled engine. This two-wheeler has a maximum power output of 22.4bhp and a peak torque of 20Nm. Though, this bike is the priciest, it is the most powerful of the three. The motorcycle has a top speed of 135kph and has a kerb weight of 116.5kg.
All the three models are now available in India and come with ABS as a standard feature. What will upset off-road enthusiasts and fans is that since these bikes are not street-legal they cannot be ridden on public roads.

SRM 250cc AC (2 valves): Rs 3.4 Lakh
SRM 250cc WC (2 valves): Rs 3.45 Lakh
SRM 250cc WC (4 valves): Rs 3.65 Lakh
