- TVS Jupiter’s month-on-month sales dropped significantly
The sales data for November 2022 has been released with some interesting insights about scooter sales last month. While the Honda Activa retained the lead with sales of 1,75,084 units, the second and third positions were an interchange.
In October 2022, the TVS Jupiter was the second highest-selling scooter in India as it recorded 77,042 takers which was substantially higher than the Suzuki Access 125’s sales of 49,192 units. Tables turned in the succeeding month as the TVS Jupiter’s sales dropped significantly to 47,422 units. Although Access 125’s month-on-month sales recorded a marginal drop in November, it was higher than Jupiter’s at 48,113 units. Notably, the aforementioned sales of the TVS Jupiter are combined numbers of its 110cc and 125cc iterations.
Talking about the prices of these products, the TVS Jupiter is pegged between Rs 75,084 (standard) to Rs 86,029 (ZX SmartXonnect) while the Jupiter 125 sets you back by up to Rs 90,900 for the top-end disc trim. Meanwhile, the prices of the Suzuki Access 125 start from Rs 79,721 for the steel wheel version and go up to Rs 88,870 for the disc alloy (with Bluetooth) variant (all prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai).
