Suzuki has launched the Access 125 Special Edition in India priced at Rs 55,589 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The special edition model is available both with and without a front disc brake, with the latter commanding an extra premium of Rs 3,300.
There aren’t many cosmetic changes to talk about. Apart from the few badges all around, the special edition model gets chrome finish for the mirrors, maroon seat and brown coloured footboard. The rest of the feature list has been carried over from the previous model, which includes digital display for the instrument cluster, one-press lock system and a mobile charging point. Under the skin, the special edition has the same 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which develops 8.4bhp and 10.2Nm of torque.
The Access 125 Special Edition is only available in a pearl white paint scheme. It competes with other 125cc scooters like the Honda Activa 125 and the Mahindra Gusto 125. In Mumbai, the Access 125 Special Edition drum brake version retails at Rs 68,200, while the disc brake version will set you back by Rs 71,500 (both on-road).
