Suzuki has introduced yet another special edition of the Access 125. Simply called the Access 125 Special Edition, this new offering will be officially launched on September 9 although it’s already on display across Suzuki dealerships with on-road Mumbai prices starting at Rs 68,200.
The price listed above is for the drum brake version whereas the disc brake-equipped version is slightly more expensive, at Rs 72,000. Talking about cosmetic upgrades, the Special Edition model gets chrome finish for the rear view mirrors and a maroon coloured seat. Otherwise, the scooter continues to feature bits like front pocket, mobile charging socket and a fairly large under seat storage space from the standard Access 125.
Mechanically, the Special Edition model is unchanged and continues to be powered by a 125cc air cooled engine with around 8bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. The scooter weighs in at 102kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 5.6-litres.
The Access 125 competes with other family-focused scooters like the Honda Active 125 and the Mahindra Gusto 125.
