- Sold 53,167 two-wheelers in the last month
- Exports jump by 6 per cent

Suzuki has reported a 36.6 per cent growth in two-wheeler sales in May 2018 in comparison to the corresponding period in 2017. Having sold 53,167 two-wheelers in the last month, Suzuki occupies the sixth position in the Indian two-wheeler industry.
As opposed to this Suzuki had sold 38,923 two-wheelers in the domestic market in May 2017. The company shipped off 5,515 two-wheelers to its global markets in the last month as compared to the 5,200 units in May 2017. This represents a six per cent growth. Overall, Suzuki sold 58,682 two-wheelers in the last month, which marks a 33 per cent growth.
Suzuki is targeting selling over 7 lakh two-wheelers in the current financial year. With over 1.17 lakh two-wheelers sold already, the company seems to be well on its way to achieving the target. The Access is the most popular product in Suzuki’s portfolio, while the Intruder has shot past the Gixxer as the highest-selling motorcycle.
