Suzuki has launched its Boulevard C50 cruiser in Thailand. This motorcycle has been tuned for low end power and to achieve this a four stroke 805cc liquid cooled V-twin engine has been incorporated. This engine packs 45.1bhp with 62Nm of torque and power is released to the wheels through a five-speed gearbox via a shaft drive.
The motor is equipped with the Suzuki dual throttle valve fuel-injection system which makes for flawless running at low rpm. With 33 degrees of rake and 1655mm wheelbase, the chassis of the Suzuki Boulevard C50 is decidedly relaxed and this makes for an effortless ride. Inverted oil damped telescopic shocks offer a generous 139.7mm of travel, while a link-assisted single shock modulates over 102mm of rear wheel travel. Massive tyres are used on the C50 to offer confidence inspiring grip and handling on urban and countryside road trips.
Suzuki’s Boulevard C50 comes with an introductory price of 379,000 Thai Baht (Rs 7.06 lakh), and while being affordable, also manages to offer a different experience compared to mainstream superbikes. Colour options include pearl glacier white and class sparkle black.
