The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is available in its BS6 version in India with a price tag of Rs 77,900 (ex-showroom). However, if you are looking to buy a motorcycle or scooter in that budget, there are four options to choose from. Here is what the list looks like.
Suzuki Access 125
In Suzuki’s shpwrooms itself you would find the Access 125. It takes on a curvy design language with chrome accents that lends it a retro appeal. In fact, the Burgman Street is based on the Access 125 and both scooters share similar engines. The 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor produces 8.6bhp and 10Nm. In terms of features, the Access 125 sports a full-LED headlamp and a external fuel-filled cap. The scooter has a starting price of Rs 67,100 and is available in five variants.
TVS Ntorq 125
The TVS Ntorq 125 directly competes against the Suzuki Burgman Street 125. However, it takes a different approach in terms of styling. While the Burgman Street 125 is a maxi-scooter, the Ntorq 125 has performance written all over its edgy styling. Nevertheless, the Ntorq 125 comes powered by a 124cc, fuel-injected motor that puts out 9.1bhp and 10.5Nm. It also gets a Bluetooth-enabled LCD display that offers a host of information, including turn-by-turn navigation; a first in its class. TVS is offering the Ntorq 125 in three variants with a starting price of Rs 65,975.
Aprilia SR 125
Aprilia’s offering in the 125cc game is the SR 125 that comes with a price tag of Rs 95,039. The sport scooter gets the same bodywork as its bigger sibling, the SR 150. Under its skin is a 124cc, fuel-injected mill that is capable of producing 9.4bhp and 8.2Nm of torque.
Honda SP 125
The only 125cc motorcycle in this list comes from Honda in the form of the SP 125. It gets an edgy styling and boasts of features like a fully-digital instrument cluster, LED lighting for the headlamp as well as the tail lamp. The Honda SP 125 comes powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled and fuel-injected motor that produces 10.6bhp and 10.9Nm. It will cost you Rs 72,900 for the drum brake version and Rs 77,100 for the disc brake variant.
