- Burgman Street 125 BS6 available in 5 colour options
- Recently introduced in a new blue colour option
Suzuki has recently added a new Pearl Suzuki Medium Blue paint scheme to the colour palette of the Burgman Street 125 BS6 in India. Now, the total number of available colour options for the scooter has gone up to five which also includes Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red. All of them cost the same at Rs 79,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Suzuki had launched the BS6-compliant version of the Burgman Street 125 in February this year with a price premium of Rs 7,000 over its BS4 counterpart. This was followed by another price hike in June 2020 which made the maxi-scooter further expensive by Rs 1,800. With the existing price tag, the Burgman Street is substantially more expensive than most of its rivals like the TVS Ntorq 125 and Yamaha Ray ZR 125.
The maxi styling of the Burgman Street is complemented by modern features such as the digital instrument cluster and LED headlamp and tail lamp. Powering the scooter is a profoundly smooth 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine which churns out 8.7bhp and 10Nm. It rides on a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheel which are suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a disc up front and a drum at the rear.
