- Suzuki Burgman Street electric spied on test
- Features a similar design as its ICE sibling
- Technical specifications yet to be revealed
Lately, several two-wheeler manufacturers are trying to enter the e-mobility segment. Joining the bandwagon, Suzuki Motorcycles seems to be coming up with an electric version of their Burgman Street. The Burgman Street EV has been spotted on test quite a few times before. Now again, the spy shots of the electric scooter found testing in Delhi NCR have surfaced on the internet.
The design of the electric scooter looks pretty similar to its ICE sibling. In the latest spy shots, it can be seen having a white-blue dual-colour combination, an LED tail lamp setup, a rectangular rear reflector, a tyre-hugger, dual shock absorbers, a slanting foot-rest provision and a rear grab handle. The scooter will also retain 12-10-inch wheels with a disc at the front and a drum at the rear.
However, the details related to the battery and the motor are yet to be known. The scooter is expected to be launched this year itself, and it will compete against the likes of the Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube. Moreover, the Suzuki Burgman Street electric is expected to be substantially expensive than its ICE version.
