Suzuki has entered the premium 125cc scooter segment in India with the Burgman Street. The scooter retails at Rs 68,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and faces competition from the TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Grazia. Let’s take a look at the Suzuki Burgman Street through this photo gallery.
The Burgman Street’s maxi-scooter styling has been inspired by the Burgman 650.
The Burgman Street sports a small windscreen. It also gets chrome strips on either side of the windscreen for a premium feel.
It gets LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp as well, a first for Suzuki in the small capacity segment.
The scooter sports an all-digital instrument cluster that displays odometer, speed, two trip meters, clock, oil change indicator and fuel level.
The Burgman Street is powered by a 124cc engine that produces 8.6bhp and 10.2Nm of torque.
It gets a front disc along with a rear drum brake along with a combined-brake system as standard.
The Burgman Street offers a cubbyhole and glove box which also integrates the optional 12V charger.
To add to the scooter’s premium feel, Suzuki also offers chrome mirrors although as optional accessory.
It tips the scales at 108kg and gets a 5.6-litre fuel tank capacity. The Burgman Street boasts of a large 21.5-litre underseat storage capacity.
