- On-road price of Rs 81,700 (Mumbai)
- To be officially launched on 19 July.
- Shares underpinnings with the Access 125.
The Suzuki Burgman Street is scheduled to arrive in the country on 19 July priced at Rs 69,671 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The scooter is based on the Access 125 although with a maxi-scooter design inspired from the bigger Burgman 650. The scooter sports an edgy front end that integrates the turn indicators, a full-LED headlamp and small windscreen. It is equipped with an all-digital instrument cluster which displays speed, odometer, clock, fuel range and oil change indicator. This means it loses out on some features that its competition display.
The Burgman Street uses the same 124cc engine from the Access 125. This unit produces 8.6bhp and 10.2Nm of torque and is mated to a CVT gearbox. Braking hardware consists of a front disc and rear drum brake along with CBS (combi-brake system) as standard.
The Suzuki Burgman Street will go head to head against other premium 125cc scooters like the TVS Ntorq 125 and the Honda Grazia.
