Suzuki has revealed its 2018 Auto Expo plans. The company has announced that it will unveil two new products for the Indian market at this automotive extravaganza.
The company, however, didn’t reveal the details of these new products. Out of these two products, one will be a maxi-scooter called the Burgman Street. The production ready pictures of this scooter were leaked online a few days ago. This scooter will be positioned above the Access 125, but it’s still not confirmed whether it will get a 125cc or a 150cc motor. But we expect the Burgman Street to use the 125cc motor from the Access as the market for 150cc scooter is still small.
The other product in question is the GSX-S750, a middle-weight naked motorcycle that shares its styling with its bigger sibling, the GSX-S1000. It gets its power from a 749cc liquid-cooled inline-four motor that churns out 113bhp at 10,500rpm. Gearbox is six-speed unit that transfers power to the rear-wheel via a chain drive. Just like its elder sibling, this motorcycle is loaded with ABS and multi-level traction control system. Suzuki will sell the GSX-S750 as a completely-knocked-down (CKD) unit, just like the Hayabusa.
The Japanese manufacturer will also have the GSX-RR Moto GP bike, the Gixxer Cup, 2018 RM-Z450, RM-Z250 and the DR-Z70 on display at the 2018 Auto Expo.
