Suzuki launched the new Gixxer 250 in India carrying a sticker price of Rs 1.59 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The naked Gixxer 250 is Rs 11,000 cheaper than its faired sibling, the Gixxer SF 250. While the Gixxer 250 looks similar to its 155cc sibling in terms of design, it gets dual-tone colour schemes, bronze-finished engine covers and an underbelly cowl. In addition to that, the company has revealed the official accessories that will be available for the Gixxer 250. Here’s the list.
Tank Pad: It is designed to prevent the zip of your jacket or the belt buckle from coming in contact with the tank and scratching the fuel tank. Besides that, it also enhances the bike’s look.
Knee Grip Pad Tank Protector: The accessory has two benefits while protecting the tank from scratches its coarse texture offers the rider more grip to hold on to the tank while riding.
Bumper bracket: Also known as crash guards, they protect the sides of the motorcycle in the event of a fall.
Skid Plate: When encountering bad roads or tall speed-breakers, the underbody of the motorcycle can get scratched or damaged. To avoid this, Suzuki is offering a skid plate that takes the beating and provides protection to the under-chassis.
DC Socket: Positioned conveniently on the handlebar, the DC socket allows easy charging of electronic devices like mobile phone and GPS on the move.
Knuckle Cover: This accessory provides added protection to the motorcycle by saving the clutch or brake lever from braking in the case of a fall. Besides that, it also protects the hands from any front impact and also cold wind during winters.
Saddle Bags: For those who love to travel of two wheels, the company has a pair of soft saddlebags with Suzuki branding that can be mounted on the tail section.
Suzuki is yet to reveal the prices of these accessories. Expect the same to happen in the next few weeks.
