Suzuki has increased the price of the Gixxer 250 in India by Rs 2,041.
The motorcycle which was launched in May for Rs 1.63 lakh, is now priced at Rs 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the price has increased, the motorcycle remains the same. It continues with a BS6-compliant, 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that it shares with the faired, Gixxer SF 250 which also receives a price hike. This motor produces 26.1bhp and 22.6Nm and is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 offers full-LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp, all-digital instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS. Suzuki is offering the motorcycle in two colour schemes- Metallic Matte Platinum Silver with Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Black paint.
Apart from the 250s, Suzuki has also hiked the prices of the 155cc Gixxer and Gixxer SF in the country.
