Dealer sources have revealed the prices of the BS6 compliant Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 motorcycles ahead of their launch. As per the list shared by the dealer sources, the updated Gixxer 250 will be available at Rs 1,65,147 while the Gixxer SF 250 will be sold at Rs 1,75,846. In comparison, the BS4 motorcycles were priced at Rs 159,800 and Rs 170,655 respectively.
The updated Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Gixxer SF 250 will retain the styling and features of their respective outgoing versions. Thus, the bikes would come equipped with LED headlight, an LED taillight, digital instrument cluster, digital instrument cluster, twin muffler and brush finished alloy wheels.
Cycle parts, too, will be identical to the BS4 motorcycles, and the BS6 compliant Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 will continue to use 41mm telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the shock absorption tasks. Braking setup will include disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net will comprise of dual-channel ABS.
The power and torque output are not likely to witness a major drop in numbers. The BS4 bikes, for reference, were tuned to draw 26.1bhp at 9,000rpm and 22.6Nm at 7,500rpm from its 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor. The engine will be linked to a six-speed transmission.
Meanwhile, several Suzuki dealers across India have rolled out attractive offers on the Gixxer SF 250 BS4.
