Suzuki Motorcycle India has revised the prices for its 155cc products, the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF. The roadster is now available at Rs 1,16,700 while its fully-faired sibling is priced at Rs 1,27,200. In comparison the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF were previously available at Rs 1,14,687 and Rs 1,25,156, respectively (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The price hike does not bring any upgrades to the two motorcycles. Thus, the mechanical specifications continue to feature a 155cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed transmission, the motor produces 13.4bhp and 13.8Nm. The feature list includes a full-LED headlight, an LED taillight, and an LCD instrument cluster. The company had updated the colour palette in October last year and the 155cc Gixxer motorcycles are available in three paint options each.
The Gixxer rivals the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Yamaha FZ FI, Hero Xtreme 160R, and the Honda X-Blade while the Gixxer SF competes against the Yamaha YZF R15 V3.
